Mai sunt, bine\u00een\u021beles, motocicletele &#8220;adventure&#8221; sau dual \u0219i cele touring (i.e. Honda Goldwing) \u2013 dar primele sunt, de obicei, prea \u00eenalte pentru cei 168 cm ai mei iar celelalte mi se par ma\u0219ini pe dou\u0103 ro\u021bi. Oricum \u0219i aceste categorii sunt scumpe, prea scumpe pentru ce doresc eu s\u0103 cheltuiesc. <!--more-->\u00a0Dintre cruiserele enumerate, primele dou\u0103 cost\u0103 cca 13-15,000$+13% taxe \u00een timp ce Kawasaki Vulcan S e numai 8000$ CAD (MRSP). Cei 750 cc ai Hondei generau 45-47CP iar cei 650cc ai Kawasaki-ului genereaz\u0103 53-55.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Dar mi-ar pl\u0103cea un motor ceva mai mare<\/strong>. Cum e al Indian Scout-ului. Desigur&#8230; dar \u00eemi place \u0219i s\u0103 r\u0103m\u00e2n cu bani \u00een buzunar, s\u0103 nu fiu dator. \u0218i de ce mi-a\u0219 dori un motor mai mare? Kawa Vulcan S te poart\u0103 de la 0 la 100 km \u00een 4.3 secunde.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Dar nu are V2-ul clasic al unui cruiser<\/strong>. \u0218i ce-i cu asta? Nu m-am \u00eenebunit niciodat\u0103 dup\u0103 pocniturile V2-ului clasic iar cupla (torque-ul), de\u0219i ceva mai mic\u0103 la twin-ul paralel al Vulcan-ului S (motor de Ninja modificat) fa\u021b\u0103 de un V2 clasic, nu se simte \u2013 a\u0219a spun zeci de review-uri online.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Dar nu arat\u0103 ca un cruiser clasic<\/strong>. Nu pare s\u0103 fie rud\u0103 cu Honda Shadow sau Fury, Vulcan Classic etc. \u0218i ce dac\u0103? Nici Yamaha Bolt nu este un cruiser clasic \u0219i totu\u0219i este apreciat. \u0218i mie-mi place. Asta conteaz\u0103, nu? \u0218i forma o face mai manevrabil\u0103, mai u\u0219or de st\u0103p\u00e2nit.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Dar e prea u\u0219oar\u0103<\/strong>. Nu chiar \u2013 are 226kg, dry curb weight. Are aproape aceea\u0219i greutate cu\u00a0Honda Shadow (2-5 kg diferen\u021b\u0103).<\/li>\n<li><strong>Dar nu are ax cardanic ci lan\u021b, forma cea mai pr\u0103p\u0103dit\u0103 de transmisie<\/strong>. Va trebui s\u0103 reglez lan\u021bul, probleme etc. Da, dar axul cardanic ia peste 30% din puterea motorului iar transmisia prin curea \u00eenc\u0103 ia un 15% (\u0219i apare numai la motociclete mult mai scumpe). To\u021bi \u2013 profesioni\u0219ti \u0219i amatori \u2013 aveau multe lucruri bune de spus despre aceast\u0103 motociclet\u0103. Iar cele negative erau absolut subiective sau deloc importante pentru mine. Fac aici o sintez\u0103 a celor \u00eenv\u0103\u021bate online despre Kawasaki Vulcan S.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>E prima motociclet\u0103 care se poate ajusta dup\u0103 dimensiunea motociclistului. <strong>Totul este ajustabil: de la ambreiaj \u0219i fr\u00e2na de m\u00e2n\u0103, p\u00e2n\u0103 la suportul de picioare, \u0219a<\/strong> etc. De\u0219i pare la mintea coco\u0219ului, c\u00e2nd vine vorba de cruisere, e o adev\u0103rat\u0103 revolu\u021bie.<\/li>\n<li>E o motociclet\u0103 excelent\u0103 pentru \u00eencep\u0103tori DAR are suficient\u0103 putere \u0219i nerv \u00eenc\u00e2t s\u0103 te po\u021bi bucura ani \u00eentregi, mult dup\u0103 ce ai dep\u0103\u0219it nivelul de \u00eencep\u0103tor.<\/li>\n<li>Prinde 107 mph (am v\u0103zut \u00eentr-un clip amator de pe youtube) = <strong>172kmph<\/strong>, adic\u0103 mai mult dec\u00e2t am de g\u00e2nd s\u0103 ating vreodat\u0103 \u0219i d\u0103 putere liniar \u00een toat\u0103 gama, nu doar la tura\u021bii mici (cum e cu V-twin-ul clasic). Dintr-un alt clip al unui individ din Quebec am remarcat c\u00e2t de repede accelereaz\u0103.<\/li>\n<li>E bine echilibrat\u0103, te po\u021bi apleca mai mult dec\u00e2t ai putea-o face cu un cruiser clasic \u0219i e \u0219i mai u\u0219or de controlat dec\u00e2t acelea.<\/li>\n<li>\u021aeava de e\u0219apament e frumos ascuns\u0103 \u2013 f\u0103r\u0103 riscul de a te arde sau de a-\u021bi topi talpa bocancului.<\/li>\n<li>(negativ\u0103) Vitezele sunt prost aranjate. Unul l\u0103uda Bolt \u2013 bobber-ul de la Yamaha &#8211; de\u0219i e mai scump \u0219i mi se pare ur\u00e2t&#8230; cic\u0103 ar avea mai mult\u0103 personalitate. Personal nu pun botul la chestiile acestea subiective gen \u201e<em>n-are personalitate<\/em>&#8230;\u201d pentru c\u0103 nu \u0219tiu ce \u00eenseamn\u0103. Am aflat repede c\u0103 de\u0219i ieftin\u0103, taxele \u0219i comisioanele se adun\u0103 repede. La cei 8000$ CAD anun\u021ba\u021bi de Kawasaki, dealership-urile mai cereau 750-1000 pt freigh&amp;PDA \u2013 adic\u0103 transportul la dealership \u0219i preg\u0103tirea motocicletei (asamblare, reglare, ulei, lichid r\u0103cire). Pe l\u00e2ng\u0103 asta, motocicleta vine doar cu scaun \u0219i peg-uri (suport de picioare) pentru motociclist. Cel pentru pasager e lucru op\u021bional \u2013 se mai adaug\u0103 cca 500$. (cred c\u0103 \u00een cur\u00e2nd \u0219i ro\u021bile vor deveni op\u021bionale).
